I'm the kinda media consumer that...

After answering the couple of surveys that we got from the first day of class I can't help but feel like a tool. I have friggin succumb to the vamperic needs of the media. I watch way more hours of TV than I will ever spend reading a book (which is sad by the way) and I hardly glance at a newspaper to see what is going on in the world around me. But yet, there I am watching Family Guy on a regular basis.

Once I realized just how hooked on the media I really am I came to the conclusion that the media needs people like me. Well not all facets of the media, but the ones that sell their products or shows really need people like me. They set everything up so that I am there waiting for them day in and day out, without having to use much brain power to view what they're trying to sell me while keeping me in my seat with a funny show and a good commercial or two. I won't lie... I see those Girls Gone Wild commercials and yeah, I want beautiful dumb girls running naked around me (I'm a guy, its what we do) and the price seems so reasonable too!!

Oh man! What a country we live in where electric sex sells better than the current events that are taking place outside our doors!
